The short explanation of this alert was:
A letter to the editor is a great way to raise awareness about newborn health and share your personal story about Caps to the Capital.
Writing a Letter to the Editor
Use credible statistics, but don't forget to tell your story. Why is newborn health important to you?
If you're part of a knitting circle, Girl Scout troop, church club or other group, note in your letter how many people in your community participated.
If your letter is published, send a copy to your member of Congress and let them know you're raising awareness.
